The two Triton tiers are honeycomb paddles. The Avatar is not: it uses a solid, all-foam SYCORE block instead of hollow cells. That is why the Avatar feels different rather than just better specced, and it is the single most useful thing to test back to back if you are deciding whether to stretch to the flagship.

Avatar, Triton 5 or Triton 3: the short answer
All three Sypik paddles are 16mm, so thickness is not the deciding factor here. What separates them is what sits inside the face and how much you want to spend.
The Avatar Ultimate Pro at $439 is the flagship, and the only one built on the all-foam SYCORE core. Solid foam holds the ball on the face fractionally longer than a hollow cell does, so it is the pick if your game leans on resets, dinks and third-shot drops, and you want the most paddle Sypik make.
The Triton Pro 5 at $349 is the honeycomb build in the same 16mm platform. Hollow cells feed more back into the hand, so it reads firmer and crisper than the Avatar. It is the middle option in the range on price and the sensible one if you want the Sypik feel without stepping up to the flagship.
The Ultimate Triton 3 at $319 is also honeycomb, and it is the cheapest way into the range. Same 16mm core, $120 less than the Avatar, so it is where most players getting their first serious Sypik should start.
If you cannot split them on paper, take them off the demo wall for three days. Foam against honeycomb is something you feel in a session, not something you read.
