The X2 is the headline: a quad-density foam core, meaning different foam densities layered through the paddle rather than one uniform block, so the response changes depending on where and how hard you hit it. The one difference that changes how they play

Engage is the other range in the shop that spans both constructions, which makes it a useful one to demo back to back. The Pursuit Alpha and Alpha Pro are honeycomb builds. The X2 is foam. Hitting an Alpha and an X2 in the same session is the fastest way to work out which side of that divide you are on.
