Facolos build T700 raw carbon paddles on an ElasticPP honeycomb core, and we stock five of them in Australia. The Elite X is the all-court standard shape, the Elite X Widebody is the more forgiving version of it, and the Nexx is the attacking 16mm build with the air tube frame. Two limited signature editions, made with Australian players Mitch Hargreaves and Sarah Dennehy, sit on the same Elite X platform. This guide covers what separates them, what each one costs, and which one suits the way you actually play.

Elite X

The two signature editions
The Mitch Hargreaves Elite X Signature and the Sarah Dennehy Elite X Hybrid Signature are limited 16mm runs built on the same Elite X platform, finished for two Australian players. Same money as the Nexx, but once a run sells out it is gone rather than restocked.

The Elite X is offered in a standard profile and a widebody, both on the same T700 raw carbon face. The standard profile comes in 14mm and 16mm, and the Widebody is 16mm only.

Elite X or Nexx: the short answer

Both run the same T700 raw carbon face, so this is not a question of which grips the ball better. It comes down to shape and thickness.

The Elite X is the all-court paddle. It is the one to pick if you want a single paddle that does everything reasonably well, and the Widebody version of it is the most forgiving thing Facolos make, so it suits anyone still finding the middle of the face.

The Nexx is the newer 16mm build and the more specialised choice. Its air tube frame and strong reaction force are aimed at offensive players, which is what you want if your game is built on driving through people rather than out-steadying them.

If you genuinely cannot pick, take both off the demo wall for three days and you will know inside a session.

Which Facolos should you buy
