For 2023 the FX 500 has been updated with a slightly softer feel for 2023 and is ideal for aggressive players looking to load the ball with pace and spin. The Dunlop FX 500 has a slightly larger head at 100sqin and a slightly thicker beam in comparison to the FX 500 Tour, this racquet has a slightly larger head and thicker beam resulting in more power, but it still packs enough precision for ambitious targeting
The FX 500 gets a new mold along with a more flexible beam, giving it a softer, more arm-friendly response than the previous generation and Dunlop has reengineered the grommet system to further increase string movement, resulting in extra power and comfort. As with the previous generation, this racquet benefits from Sonic Core w/Infinergy which is added to the upper hoop to soften the feel of impact. Additional features include a Power Boost Frame Geometry which combines a speedy aerodynamic profile with a wider throat for stability.
