Same Day Delivery Melbourne: Pickleball and Tennis Gear
Your paddle cracks on a Thursday night and you are playing Saturday morning. Standard post takes five to seven working days, which is no use to you at all. Racquet World now runs same day delivery across Melbourne through Pronti, a courier that collects from our Epping shop and drives your order to your door on the day you buy it.

How same day delivery works
There is nothing to sign up to and no code to enter. Same day shows up as a delivery option at checkout when your address and the time of day both qualify.
If the option does not appear, it is one of two things: you are outside the ring, or you are outside the ordering window. Both are covered further down.
Who same day delivery is for
Same day is worth paying for when the gear has to be in your hand before a fixed event. It is not worth paying for when it does not.
What you can get delivered today
Everything below is on the shelf at Epping as this is written. Stock moves, so the product page is the truth on the day you order.
Paddles
Court shoes
Shoes are the one thing worth getting right rather than fast, because size matters more than model. If you are not sure of your size, the shop is a better bet than a courier.
Balls, grips and the cheap stuff that stops a session
The delivery area, 60km around Epping
The service area is a 60km radius from the shop at Shop 4/59 Willandra Drive, Epping. That is a big circle. It takes in the whole of metropolitan Melbourne and a fair way past it in every direction.
The suburbs below are examples, not a complete list, and the distances are straight line from the shop. They are here so you can judge roughly where you sit. Your own address is checked by Pronti at checkout, and that check is the one that counts.
Everything in those four panels sits comfortably inside the ring. The outer edge of the 60km circle runs out past Bacchus Marsh, Berwick, Frankston and Cranbourne, and those are close enough to the boundary that we will not promise them in writing. Put the address into the checkout and it will tell you in a second.
Cutoff times and what happens if you miss them
Same day only runs while the shop is picking and the courier is running. The windows are set by the ordering time, not by when you add things to the cart.
| Day | Order between | Same day available |
|---|---|---|
| Monday to Friday | 10am and 5pm | Yes |
| Saturday | 8am and 12.30pm | Yes |
| Saturday afternoon | After 12.30pm | No |
| Sunday | Any time | No |
Miss the window and the same day option simply will not appear at checkout. You are not stuck: standard and express post are still there, and click and collect from the Epping shop is free if you would rather drive in and pick it up yourself.
Frequently asked questions
How much does same day delivery cost?
It depends on how far you are from Epping. Pronti calculates it from your delivery address at checkout, so there is no single price to quote. Add what you want to the cart, enter your address, and the price shows before you pay.
How do I know if my address is covered?
The service area is 60km from the Epping shop. Rather than guess from a list, put your address into the checkout. If same day appears as an option, you are covered.
What time will it arrive?
We pack the order and Pronti collects it. We do not set the run order or the drop time, so we will not quote you an arrival window we do not control. What we commit to is that it leaves the shop the same day.
Can I get a racquet restrung same day?
Not by courier, because we need the racquet in our hands to string it. The Tennis Loft runs a same day or 24 hour stringing turnaround in store, and there is an after hours drop off, so a restring is a trip to Epping rather than a delivery.
Is every product eligible?
Same day runs out of the Epping shop, so it covers stock we hold here. If something is not held in store the option will not be offered for it. Bulky items are the usual exception.
Do you still do click and collect?
Yes, and it is free from the shop at Shop 4/59 Willandra Drive, Epping.
The bottom line
Same day delivery is a fix for a specific problem: you need a paddle, shoes, balls or grips before a fixed date, and the post will not get there. Inside 60km of Epping, ordered between 10am and 5pm on a weekday or before 12.30pm on a Saturday, it goes out today and Pronti prices it from your own address.
Outside those windows, or outside that ring, standard post and free click and collect are still the sensible options, and for anything where fit or feel matters more than speed, the shop beats a courier every time.
Visit the store in Epping
Racquet World, the Pickleball Parlour in Epping, is where all of this stock actually sits, and the Tennis Loft under the same roof covers tennis, racquets and stringing. If you are inside the delivery ring you are also inside driving distance, and some things are worth the drive.
