The Six Zero Story

Six Zero is an Australian family owned pickleball brand that produces quality and performance equipment.

Six Zero was founded by Australian Engineer Dale Young. Dale grew up on the Sunshine Coast. He has a water sports background along with tennis. After graduating from university, he and his partner Tanya travelled and worked in rural Africa in a voluntary capacity for 10 years. On returning to Australia to start a family Dale discovered pickleball, and the Six Zero Journey began.

Our engineering team research and develop innovative technology to revolutionize the sport of pickleball. Our advantage as players is that we know what works on the court and we can continously iterate and improve prototypes to ensure our production models take your game next level.

Our Promise

At Six Zero, we’re more than just a brand, we’re a community of enthusiasts, professionals, and newcomers united by our love for pickleball. We’re committed to providing you with equipment that's not just built but crafted, with attention to detail and a dedication to excellence. We will continue to develop new products and evolve the sport of pickleball. We stand behind our products and look forward to sharing our paddles with the wider pickleball community within and beyond Australia.

I have about 5 years of experience in tennis, which has really helped with my pickleball game. I do prefer singles but play both mixed and men's doubles. My favorite shot is the banana shot as my opponent thinks the ball is heading out, but it hooks back at the last minute. My favorite paddle is the Opal for both singles and doubles play. Thanks Six Zero for having me on the team!
